Proceeds from this Raffle will be primarily used to contribute to a memorial to CPL Donny McDougall. Donny McDougall was a young Vietnam veteran who lost his life supporting an Army exercise on Maria Island, Tasmania in 1977. The truck he was driving to bring fuel to Maria Island crashed. Donny left behind his wife Valerie, his 3 year old son Grant (dec) and then unborn daughter Amanda. February 2027 will be the 50th anniversary of his death and the RAE Tas association wishes to install a memorial for him at Triabunna RSL.
